Position:Technical Customer Service Manager
Department:Sales Dept.
Location:Shanghai/Beijing, China
Report to:Direct to Product Manager; Indirect to the local GM for administrative matters
Working Experience:  Minimum of 5 years experience
Possible Gender Implications: open
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
Languages: Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin), good written and spoken English

Main responsibilities:

  • Establish standard claim handling procedures and process for relevant products
  • Conduct claim investigation as requested by the product manager, and provide on-site trouble-shooting advices if applicable
  • Confirm the technical conclusion of claims and provide solutions (where applicable) to the product manager and customer within agreed time frame and after securing the consent from the relevant mill
  • Support the product manager to settle claims in a timely fashion and in the least possible compensation amount to the mills
  • Analyze and provide claim summary report to the relevant mills on a regular basis.
  • This position is to provide the technical service and technical sales supports for the dissolving pulp through professional technical knowledge and skills
  • Be active in technical sales promotion upon request.
  • Conduct regular technical trainings both internally and externally
  • Be aware of the future trend in paper/board making and in printing/converting, and the unmet needs of the customers in order to provide input for Group R&D and innovation
  • Initiate competitors’ quality benchmarking annually.

Job Requirements:

  • Expertise in pulp and paper industry
  • More than 5 years of relevant working experiences in technical service areas, experience in technical sales is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, proactive & self-motivated, team oriented personality and a service-minded approach
  • University degree and above
  • Fluent in written, reading and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Willing to travel
